Do we need them? No, they are not necessary however they are incredibly convenient. I personally love to use protein powder, it’s great for people on the go like myself who still want to hit their daily protein.

How do we take them? I like to blend my protein powder with fresh fruit and almond milk. Stay tuned for a recipe on the blog!

How do I choose one? My advise is to try before you buy, most brands have sample sizes that you can purchase. I personally love the chocolate whey protein from @freesoulsistas because it contains all natural ingredients and is Gluten & GMO free.

MY GO-TO BREAKFAST PROTEIN SMOOTHIE RECIPE

This literally takes 3 mins to make and has all the right nutrients to keep you going throughout the day.

1 or 2 bananas cut

1 handful of strawberries

1 handful of blueberriesbr

2 scoops of protein powder, I use the chocolate whey protein from Free Soul

300 ml Almond Milk or water

Blend for 1 minute and enjoy ❤️

SWEET TOOTH? TRY THIS DELICIOUS CHOCOLATE AND PEANUT BUTTER RECIPE

300 ml almond milk

1 tbsp creamy peanut butter

1 ripe banana can be frozen, broken into large chunks

1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

1 scoop chocolate whey protein powder

5-10 ice cubes depending on how thick you like it

optional: 1 tsp. honey
